Lady Gabriella Windsor and her financier beau Thomas Kingston got married in a beautiful wedding ceremony over the weekend at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle – the third royal couple in the space of one year to say their ‘I do’s’ at the prestigious venue.
And while Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie’s wedding pulled some A-List guests, Lady Gabriella, 38 – who is the daughter of the Queen’s cousin, Prince Michael of Kent – and Thomas also hosted a star-studded affair.
Princess Diaries actress Anne Hathaway got a taste of a real royal wedding. The Hollywood star was spotted discreetly arriving at the evening reception alongside husband Adam Shulman.
While Prince William and Kate Middleton were no shows at the royal wedding – Kate’s entire family, including parents Michael and Carole, as well as siblings Pippa and James, along with their partners, were all in attendance.
Guests took to Instagram to share special moments from the reception, with one partygoer capturing a radiant Pippa – who gave birth to son, Arthur, seven months ago – happily chatting with Lady Gabriella.
The stunning bride – who wore a total of four gowns by designer Luisa Beccaria – also stopped to take a selfie with some of her guests.
The couple’s wedding cake designer, Fiona Cairn, also took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of the newlyweds cutting eight-tier cake.
“The beautiful bride Lady Gabriella Windsor and her husband Mr Tom Kingston cutting their Fiona Cairns wedding cake at Frogmore House yesterday,’ read the accompanying caption.
“We were so honoured to make this royal wedding cake and be part of such a special day!”
British socialite Jemima Khan also shared several snaps from the special day, including an adorable picture of her niece, Eliza, acting as bridesmaid.
But perhaps the most touching moment shared on social media was a candid moment between Lady Gabriella and the Queen. The new bride can be seen tenderly holding the Monarchs hand whilst engaged in conversation.
So cute!
