Shop the Uniqlo x JW Anderson Collaboration in Australia

If you’re a Uniqlo fanatic, you’ll know that the high-street store was once a best-kept secret, and has now become a go-to for wardrobe basics across the globe.

Thanks to their classic cuts, fun colours and innovative materials – I’m looking at you AIRism and HEATTECH – the brand is constantly raising the bar.

Uniqlo collabs are high on our radar at WHO, and as a fashion writer I’ve been patiently waiting for the sixth collaboration between JW Anderson and Uniqlo to hit Australian stores so I can see it for myself.

Labelled as their Autumn Winter collection, the range has an abundance of knitwear, jackets, a few denim pieces and cute accessories (think embroidered animal socks).

As soon as it arrived this week, I dashed into the stores to get my hands on the new pieces, so I can show you which apparel is worth purchasing. Here’s everything I’m shopping from the range.

1. Souffle Yarn Crew Neck Sweater

Hello knit season! Chunky jumpers are a big part of my cold-season wardrobe and I love how this crew neck is soft and not at all itchy. It’s the perfect sweater to throw on with jeans on the weekend or if I wanted to dress it up for an evening, I’d pair it with a satin skirt and heels.

2. Colour Mix High Neck Long Sleeve Dress

I love a knit dress for winter, and this long sleeve number ticks all the boxes. It’s thick, soft, and has gorgeous cuff and neck detailing. The perfect dress to wear with long boots.

3. Trench Coat

Everybody should have a trench in their wardrobe, and if you don’t – consider this your sign to buy one! JW Anderson has taken a classic approach with this design, using a hounds tooth print, button front and belt tie. It’s thick enough to keep you warm but there’s also enough room for extra layers underneath.

4. Oxford Long Shirt

The perfect white shirt DOES exist! I knew I’d love this shirt before I’d even tried it on. It’s made from 100% cotton so it’s soft and breathable, but still slightly structured making it the perfect piece to wear over jeans to the office.

5. Slim Straight Leg Jeans

Straight legs jeans are a must-have shape all year round, and as a fan of Uniqlo denim, I knew that the cut of this pair would not disappoint. They fit comfortably around the waist and land just below the ankle so I can wear sneakers with them. Plus they look super cute with the squirrel knit from the collection!
