After getting our first look at the new season, we were treated to the confirmed release date by Apple TV+ (spoiler alert: it’s today!) and an official trailer, which you can watch in the video player above.
In the first photo of the third season, we saw Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) come face-to-face with Nathan Shelley (Nick Mohammed), who are now rival coaches.

What is season three about?
As per the synopsis, in the third season, we’ll see the newly-promoted AFC Richmond face ridicule as media predictions widely peg them as last in the Premier League.
Nate, now hailed as the “wonder kid”, has gone to work for Rupert at West Ham United, and in the wake of his contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard.
Meanwhile, while Ted deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley navigates being the boss of her own PR agency.
Who is in the cast of Ted Lasso?
Jason Sudeikis returns to reprise his role as Ted Lasso, along with Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins, Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard, and Toheeb Jimoh as Sam Obisanya.
Cristo Fernández also stars as Dani Rojas, Kola Bokinni as Isaac, Nick Mohammed as Coach Nathan “Nate” Shelley, Juno Temple as Keely Jones, Stephen Manas as Richard Montlaur, and Annette Badland as Mae.
Jodi Balfour has also been added to the cast to play Jack, a charming venture capitalist, and team therapist Sharon and journalist Trent Crimm are both set to return in some form for the third season.
