After failing to capture Matt Agnew’s heart, Kristen Czyszek— who’s been dubbed as China’s ‘sleeper agent’— was sent home during an emotional episode last week.
Since then, the fan favourite has come out of hiding to reveal the real reason why Matt Agnew is yet to boot this year’s villain, Abbie Chatfield, from the series.
Speaking to Yahoo, Kristen said that although Abbie hasn’t made herself a favourite in her fellow contestants’ eyes, the astrophysicist is yet to see her true colours seeing as he’s only had pleasant encounters with the 23-year-old.
“I think it’s really hard to understand people’s comments when he (Matt) hasn’t seen that side and only experienced wonderful moments with her (Abbie),” Kristen revealed. “Matt knows what he wants and so he’s just pursuing what he wants, that’s why she’s still there.”

“Abbie has such a big personality and we all have different ways of coping in [The Bachelor] environment, she copes with a lot of things through laughs and jokes.”
After being from the competition last week, a source close to the “devastated” star— who became a viral meme after speaking Chinese for most of the season— said she fled to China to deal with her heartbreak.
“She ran off to China and nobody heard anything from her for months,” a source close to the contestant told the Daily Mail. “She stopped responding to text messages and everything. It was as if she dropped off the face of the earth.”

After ghosting her friends and family, Kristen unexpectedly returned to Australia ahead of this season’s premiere and instead of moving back home, she packed her bags and relocated to none other than Matt’s hometown…. coincidence?
“Her move to Melbourne raised a few eyebrows,” an insider told the outlet of the research officer’s move. “She had been telling friends for a while that she wanted to live in Melbourne, but the timing was certainly interesting
Opening up about her exit, the blonde beauty said she was hurt by Matt’s decision to send her packing.
“I’m obviously devastated but I know that whoever you end up with is going to be the most amazing woman in the whole world,” a crushed Kristen told Matt (in English) as he walked her to the waiting car. “I know who they are and I just wish you all the best and thank you for everything.”
But she was kind of fibbing, sort of, because she said that she knew, she knew, he’d end up with someone “amazing”… but when a producer asked her in the car what she thought of Abbie potentially winning, Kristen replied: “I feel like Abbie might have bad intentions… Jesus Christ. It was incredibly disappointing to see how she acted tonight and I hope that Matt will be able to see her for who she really is.”
While it’s clear she has no time for the controversial star, Kristen needn’t worry about Abbie’s connection with Matt considering she’s since moved with another reality TV contestant.
“Abbie has been talking to multiple guys on Instagram including Married at First Sight’s Billy Vincent and last year’s runner up from Ali Oetjen’s season of the Bachelorette, Todd King,” an insider dished to New Idea.
While the nature of her chat with Billy remains unknown, the source claimed she isn’t too fussed that her former Bachelor co-star Nichole Wood has also been linked to the MAFS star, and was recently caught locking lips with him during an intimate dinner date.
Meanwhile, another clued up insider claimed Abbie has been bragging to the girls about “a hot new lover”.
“I am dating someone, but I can’t say who it is,” she apparently gushed to another contestant. “I wish I could tell you, but I can’t.”
