Oh wow, The Real Housewives of Melbourne is returning to our screens, and it’s safe to say that I am FREAKING out!
So much so, I literally just called my mum and screamed I was so excited. She screamed back. We watch the show together and if you think that’s weird, soz, deal with it.
Anyway, Lydia Schiavello— the poshest cast member who starts literally 95 per cent of the drama— just confirmed that the controversial series is being renewed for season five.
Opening up her Instagram for people to ask her questions, one user asked if another season was on the way. Lydia replied saying, “Keep an eye out for season 5.” In another story, she added, “Season 5 in 2019.”
Last year, Lydia starred alongside Jackie Gillies, Gina Liano, Janet Roach, Gamble Breaux, Sally Bloomfield and Venus Behbahani-Clark.
And in case you’ve forgotten, s**t well and truly hit the fan.
Gina and Gamble’s weird friendship imploded and then she went nuts at the end-of-season reunion and tore into the newbie Sally calling her a “pleb with no education”. Venus had creepy photos of the cast on her phone which she failed to explain, Jackie had beef with Lydia and Janet tried her hardest to keep the peace… with everyone in Melbourne.
If you don’t remember much from last season, I don’t blame you, a lot went down. All you need to know is that everyone basically hated each other by the final episode.
Might I add, I feel like drinks wouldn’t have been thrown if former cast member Chyka Keebaugh hadn’t left the series.
I’m just saying…
At this stage, we don’t know who will be returning for season five.
