In between getting up to mischief on Hit Network radio show Carrie & Tommy and occasionally appearing on The Project, comedian Tommy Little sits down with WHO to discuss all things sexy.
While the 33-year-old isn’t quite ready to unbutton his shirt, he charms the crew at the shoot with his one-liners and cheeky grimaces.
Do you find yourself sexy?
No! I’d make a good caricature. As I get older, my nose and my ears keep growing.
Do you think being funny is sexy?
I think that laughing is sexy. I love to laugh. But for attention … I really want people to laugh at my jokes, so yes I find that sexy.
Who is the sexiest comedian you know?
The sexiest comedian I know is Dave Hughes. There’s something about his gap. I’m talking teeth gap. I haven’t seen Hughesy’s thigh gap, but I’m sure it’s pretty good as well.
And who do you think of when you hear the word sexy?
Someone old school, maybe like a Farrah Fawcett or Cindy Crawford? Or Burt Reynolds. He was sexy in his day.
When do you feel most confident?
I’m probably my most confident on stage because I can’t see people. It’s darkness. So you feel like you’re by yourself. Which, if you feel like you’re by yourself for too long, you may turn out mad. So, it’s not good.
Have you always been that confident?
I was what they described as overexcited in school. I was, in other words, annoying and kind of bratty. So, yeah, I think I have always been a bit showy or, as other people would say, a bit of a wanker.
Are you dating anyone?
No, I’m not. I’m not. I don’t know why I paused like there was more to say, but I’m not. I’m in between dances. I think that’s what they say.
What do you find sexy in a girl?
Confidence. Sense of humour.
What do you look for in a partner?
Someone that likes me? That hasn’t worked so far, but that’s what I’m looking for.
