The announcement came just days before she shared a few more details about motherhood during an interview with CBS News Sunday Morning.
"They just turned ten months old," she explained. "And I've been with them every single day."
"It's the best in the whole wide world," she said of motherhood during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon the same week.
"Yes, it's more joy, more fun and more exhausting. It's more everything than I ever thought it would be. It's more glorious, it's the most extraordinary thing in the world."
Hilary took to Instagram in April 2023 to announce that she and her husband, Philip Schneider have welcomed twins.
"It wasn't easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it," Hilary shared. "Happy Easter! Posting from pure Heaven."
The twins, whose names were not announced at the time, are the first children of the couple, who tied the knot in 2018.
The pair reportedly met on a blind date in November 2016 - five months after she ended her three-month engagement to tennis player, Ruben Torres.
Hilary first announced her pregnancy in October 2022, while speaking about her upcoming projects on Good Morning America.
Explaining that the "next thing" she was looking forward to was motherhood, she dropped the bombshell that she was expecting not one but two children.
"And not just of one, but of two," the actress shared. "I can't believe it."
She added at the time, "It's so nice to be able to talk about it and share it."
In October 2021, the star spoke to Extra about why she waited to have kids.
"I was having a career and not having the right relationship until … four years ago, and all the elements needed to come together and be right," she explained.
"It’s just something I thought about even as a young girl," she continued, "It’s something that was on my mind, so it’s nice to be here and just be pregnant."
According to the actress, her babies were initially due on what would have been her late father's 75th birthday. Stephen Michael Swank passed away in October 2021.
"I had a rather unique relationship with him as I was his sole caretaker after a lung transplant seven years ago," Hilary wrote in a tribute to her dad.
"I grew incredibly close to him during this time, deepening our relationship and savouring every moment we had together. He will always remain one of my most favourite persons and not a day goes by that I don't miss him."
Adding that his death was "devastating," the actress added that his death "helped me better understand the circle of life and where we come from and where we go back to, which has connected me back to my truest self."
"It helped me forgive, to move past the things that hold me back, in whatever form that takes each day," she shared. "We are all in this together."
